Pre-race routine:

Oatmeal and a banana at 3:30. Should have had something around 5:00, I was hungry when the race started.
Event warmup:

Swam 200m. I don't think it helped because I had to wait 20ish minutes for my turn.

I'm very happy with my swim time, much faster than I was expecting. It could have been faster if I didn't get stuck behind traffic.
What would you do differently?:

Give a faster swim time at registration. The difference between my training and race pace was huge.

I felt much faster than 3 minutes. Lots of room for improvements.
What would you do differently?:

Practice putting socks on with wet feet. Or try to bike/run w/o socks. Need to be more comfortable getting on bike.

Wow, this was horrible. My calves and shins were hurting from the start. I ran a couple minutes then walked one minute.
