Pre-race routine:

Got there early found a nice transition area near the bike entrance/exit. A little Gatorade and half a Clif bar.
Event warmup:

None..I tried to get into a lane they had reserved for fast swimmers and ended up in line for nearly 2 hours.

Comments:

I have been training for IMFL and it showed the 1st 200 yards as I felt out of gas. Got my act together and felt much better the last 300.
What would you do differently?:

Not listen to the guys in my wave who claim they swim 8 min/per 500 and let them start ahead of you. I passed both of them in the 1st 100 yards.

I really want to train specifically for sprints next year and improve my times at this distance.
