Pre-race routine:

Up at 4:30am. Scott was working this race so we had to be to the race site by 5:30am. I slept in the back of Jeep Liberty once we got there and got a few more hours sleep!

Slow transition for me. I had a hard time getting my wetsuit off and I just felt like all thumbs!

My legs felt really heavy at first. I was thinking it may have been my 35 mile ride the day before but then I realized it was the immediate hill we had to climb coming out of transition. My felt better as my ride continued! Again...my time was faster than my 2008 time so I can't complain.

Not my fastest 5km but after looking over the results the fastest girl ran only in the mid 20's. Again...overall faster than 2008!
