Course seemed way long, probably closer to 475M, time was 20 seconds per 100 slower than my normal slow pace, based on the given of 400m. The saltwater(brackish) surprised me.
What would you do differently?:

More open water.

seat post clamp came loose, on a climb, had my seat up my backside in a bad way, lost 2 minutes on the bike, had to adjust seat, would only stay fixed in the rear most position.
What would you do differently?:

Check equipment more regularly.

Course was advertised short, im not sure where the course started but i started my GPS right out of transition and stopped it at the finish line, came out to 2.61 miles exactly.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, good run, maybe harder out of the gate, ran good negative split.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

luck and swimming.

Just wish they had chips, as the transition times are factored into your totals for the bike/run split.
