Run
Comments: I started out at a 7:45 pace for the first couple of miles. Then I just started running by feel which was around the 7:30 range. I was able to grind out many miles without feeling too bad. At mile 15 I started feeling hungry. I took a get at mile 16 and immediately developed a side stitch. It took a couple of miles to breath through the cramp. At mile 18 I reached the wall so to speak. I decided to suffer through the pain and keep up the solid effort already behind me. I was able to hold pace and decided at the 23 mile mark that I was going to be able to BQ. I lumbered to the finish with a couple of minutes to spare. My training partner was there to meet me with a high five and he qualified too! What would you do differently?: nothing Post race
Warm down: I was in bad shape after the race. I drank some chicken broth and chocolate milk which helped. What limited your ability to perform faster: nothing Event comments: This is a runners race! It is fast and flat. I took two gels, 16 endurolytes, and a bag of sports beans during the race. I mainly drank water. Last updated: 2010-12-22 12:00 AM

Woke up at 4:00 drank an Ensure and ate a Lara Bar. Went back to sleep for an hour.
Nothing to speak of other than running back and forth from the bathroom a couple of times
