Pre-race routine:

got up walked to transition with bike and bag, walked back home, had peanut butter, honey, and bannana toast. went back to race site for warm ups. had gel 20 minutes from start.

stride drills at 5k speed, drills in the warm up pool.

had a to minute break before I swam, no one to pass and no one to draft.
What would you do differently?:

Train better in order to swim faster.

In T1 I dropped garmin and had to go back for it, forgot to put helmet on too.

made it out of T1, crossed mount line, left foot on, swung right foot over, left came off and crashed. bent shifter, bars, derailuer. Had to chase down one shoe and aero bottle.
What would you do differently?:

practice mounting, flying squirrel would be nice.

crash technically on bike course, lost at least 90 seconds. Had to stop to put chain back on a few times. Hill work seemed to work because i was passing people.
