Felt good. Only 1 person passed me. A VERY fast older woman who was very vocal in her breathing pattern. Distracting.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder. Maybe could have caught 3rd place....

Warm down:

walk around getting food/drink. Cheer on friends still on the course

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bike fitness - or maybe just the bike today?

Event comments:

This was the 4th annual. I did the sprint in '08 and '10. This is the 1st year doing the olympic. They get better with their organization every year. It is a really tough course. Toughest I have done - including the Door County 1/2 Iron -- which is tough in its own right. I enjoyed myself. I missed the extra short bike of the sprint though. We'll see what I do next year. Maybe I could get to an age group award in the oly. Was 2nd in my AG last year for the sprint. Maybe go back to that???
