Overall Rank = 6/193
Age Group = 25-29
Age Group Rank = 1/20
Pre-race routine:

Instead of Coffee, I drank a NOS energy drink (probably not the best idea, but it's loaded with caffeine and tasty!). I didn't eat much since the race distance was pretty short. Loaded up and headed to the race site.
Event warmup:

Did about a mile and a half run with speedups, then biked for about 5 miles to be pleasantly surprised by having someone rack their bike where I had my stuff setup! After trying to sort that out, I didn't get time to swim, but I felt pretty warmed up after the run and bike anyway.
Swim
  • 10m 11s
  • 587 yards
  • 01m 44s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swim was about on par with the field, which is an improvement sadly! I even drafted a little bit with moderate success.
What would you do differently?:

Keep working on improving my swim. I'm getting there slowly.
Transition 1
  • 00m 40s
Comments:

First time I executed a flying mount successfully in a race! I've been working on this for a while now, so now I'm not giving free seconds to the competition.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. My T1 is finally where it needs to be.
Bike
  • 26m 39s
  • 10 miles
  • 22.51 mile/hr
Comments:

First race on my new bike. I could have pushed a bit harder, but I wanted a solid 5k, so I did just under threshold.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe push a little harder. Getting down to the very minutiae of race pacing is tough.
Transition 2
  • 00m 40s
Comments:

Not much to say here. Transitions looked good this race.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Run
  • 21m 47s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 07m 02s  min/mile
Comments:

This is the fastest I've been able to push myself off the bike. I head into T2 5th overall, but there was one guy in my age group that passed me about a quarter mile into the run. I wanted to pass him and keep climbing up in overall ranking. I passed him on the run, but got caught by another guy putting me at 6th overall. Still my best run off the bike this season.
What would you do differently?:

Train on the run so I can keep up with the top 3 guys.
Post race
Warm down:

Did a good bit of stretching, rehydrated, then jogged a little.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much. I felt like this was a pretty complete race effort on my part. I can only train more now to keep advancing up the ladder.

Event comments:

This is a good race that has improved a good bit over last year. I look forward to racing this one again!
