Comments: Needed to do a better job with sighting - but the swim felt good, first swim in wetsuit was wonderful. Took it easy but steady. What would you do differently?: Better sighting and swim lines would have helped cut a bit of time off. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition - could have been faster but I was pleased with the time - didn't forget anything. What would you do differently?: maybe practice it more...left transition with everything but thinking "what did i forget" Bike
Comments: started smooth - drank 2 servings of perpetum an 3 bottles of water. Not sure what that works out to. Last 16 miles where into the wind and I backed off a good bit. Kept heart rate around 150-160 for the ride. What would you do differently?: I was much more spent then expected when I got off the bike, believe I should have slowed it down a bit, never felt that extended though. Transition 2
Comments: Smooth transition - next time put on suntan lotion - got burnt to a crisp on the run. Run
Comments: Was spent by mile two - took water and/or heed at every mile, walked ran from mile two to 12 - started cramping around mile 8 What would you do differently?: probably take it easier on the bike - I was just spent - needed to do more bricks and longer brickes Post race
Warm down: nothing - walked around a bit and light stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: training limitations Event comments: Only half I have done but it was supported super well.
