Swim
  • 14m 48s
  • 540 yards
  • 02m 44s / 100 yards
Comments:

This was my first OWS in a race. My goal here was more to get through the swim than to try and swim at speed. I had some trouble sighting, more from inexperience than anything else.
Transition 1
  • 00m
Bike
  • 44m 33s
  • 13 miles
  • 17.51 mile/hr
Comments:

Time includes transition from swim. My garmin said 39:45, so figure a 5 min transition= too long. I felt pretty good on the bike, garmin said an avergae speed of 18.7 mph and a 176 HR.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, felt like a good bike. My best segment of the day.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Run
  • 38m 57s
  • 4 miles
  • 09m 44s  min/mile
Comments:

I melted during this run. Mile splits were 8:51; 9:27; 9:43; 9:45. Not really sure what happened, I should have been a minute faster in Miles 2-4.

Event comments:

This was a small, but well put on race. My focus here was to get a solid race under my belt before NYC in August.
