Pre-race routine:

This race is local, and only 15 mins away. Had some waffles with the kids and then drove off to the race alone.

Calf still pulled from last week, but test run yesterday went ok. No sprinting but this is an endurance race. I taped it up tight with a big tensor bandage and hoped for the best.

Event warmup:

Parked on the street to avoid the 10$ parking fee, then had to walk back to the car to drop off the bag/dry clothes to avoid the 5$ bag fee. :P

Got to the line 30 seconds before gun went.
Post race
Warm down:

Watched the next wave start, got showered off, drove home. Super convenient.


What limited your ability to perform faster:

Running has been flat, calf injury.

Event comments:

Great quick race, but no AG/cat results, photos still haven't been released and took forever to get results up.
