Waves were a bit choppy (4ft) and the first 100 yards to buoy was into them so that was slow but got into a pace for the remaining 750 yards. Lots of people pulled out of event because of the waves and saw a good amount of rescues.
What would you do differently?:

Its my weakest link but considering the circumstances I was alright with my swim.

Actually had a good transition time considering I had to run about 150 yards with the bike and remove my wetsuit. My T1 time was 239/1268

Can't think of my Triathlons with better views! Over the causeway overlooking downtown Miami, past cruise ships, mansions, over the ocean. Was pacing around 28 MPH with a tailwind and around 20 with the headwinds. Had some good climbs that slowed me down a bit but was able to get up to 40 mph on one causeway going back down hill.
What would you do differently?:

Couldnt get my legs under me. Was hoping to be around 30 or 31 min. Lots of traffic getting caught up w/international distance and tourists on boardwalk.
