Didn't feel very strong, but it seemed to be my average pace.

Glide more and give full strokes.

Comments:

Big wreck. Front wheel turned, and bike went in front of me. Threw me over the bike and slip on the pavement. Got up right away but in pain from landing on hands and getting feet stuck in wheel and drivetrain.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure what happened.

I was really hurting from the wreck. Took me over half a mile to get composed, the pain to subside, and adrenaline to go down. Had a female pace with me and encourage me the whole run about 3/4mi into the run. Very helpful because I was discouraged about the wreck and pain.
What would you do differently?:

Pace with that girl again. That's the fastest pace I've had in a race and did it with injuries!

The wreck.

Event comments:

Love this race. I plan to make it a regular every year. The wreck was harsh and I've got some gnarly injuries to prove it, but it didn't affect my performance at all. So overall, I'm really happy.
