Transition was in a grassy area so had to spend a few seconds getting grass and sand off my feet. Didn't really have a place to put my wetsuit.

Bike was a good out and back. Had a slight tail wind on the outbound leg, which was nice but then caused a drop of ~2mph on the way back with similar effort. There was no aid on the course, but for only 13 miles, it's probably not necessary.

Nice run out and back. Nothing major here other than the lack of shade. There was an aid station at the 1 mile marker that did double duty for going out and heading back in.

For such a small race, Cutting edge does a very nice job of organizing and coordinating their races. I would definitely do this race again next year.
