Comments:

Very hilly course. Did an okay job pacing myself but was not expecting the course to be as hilly as it was. It was a cold day so I wore appropriate clothing for it. Had some foot pain around mile 7 that has been bothering me in the past two weeks but it went away or my feet were so cold they went numb. I dunno.

It was a fun route and atmosphere with great crowd support, especially all of the crazy Halloween costumes that were in the crowd. Had a few good laughs from some of the more zany characters.
What would you do differently?:

Pace better. I still had a lot left in the tank in the end but I was unfamiliar with the course and after experiencing several fairly steep hills early on I held back to make sure I didn't push it too much so I could still finish strong. Need to focus on more hill (repeats) training. It's almost impossible to run in Atlanta without tackling hills but this route was a beast.

Warm down:

Walked around and sat down for a few minutes. Walked back to my car.

Event comments:

Very well-organized and fun race with a scenic view coming into the finishing stretch. Awesome crowd and volunteer support. Great day.
