Comments:

my goggles fogged up early, and I couldn't see the bouys well. I couldn't seem to swim straight, every time I sighted I seemed to be off course.
What would you do differently?:

more practice sighting, swimming straight. Make sure to defog goggles.

I thought I did well, but then shoe velcro came undone once I was on bike (but through transistion) and had to fiddle with it.

I felt great on the bike. I trained for hills so I loved it. I passed tons of people on the bike
What would you do differently?:

Even more hills, lose a few pounds. Carry a small amount of water on bike.

I thought I did OK but I attempted to leave transition in the wrong spot so had to double back. That cost about 10 seconds, and I was really thirsty so I did slow down for few swigs of water.

I finished 9 of 11 in my age cat for T2

I trained for hills so this felt great. But in retrospect, I should have pushed harder especially on the flats.

weight.

My time would have been the age cat winning time last year. I cannot control who else turns out for the race
