Swim
Comments: I am pretty happy with swim, I worked hard 25, then would do 75% 25, then alternate. Worked on my stroke mechanics like I do in the pool and made sure I was pulling well in the water. Felt better in the water for once. What would you do differently?: Just keep working and getting faster in the pool. No complaints, I actually enjoyed this swim... Transition 1
Comments: lol 24 freakin seconds for T1... I was first in the field!!!! no body touched me... I guess the transition area is my new specialty... lol What would you do differently?: Uh I think I have it down to a art form.. nothing to change. Bike
Comments: 2nd in my age group for the bike Rock on!!! My gears were slipping some (got fixed later that day) so I had to be a little creative on hills and move in and out of chain rings. Just hammered, felt really good on the bike. I started 22 on the swim, so it was cool to pass all of these people. Seen Cbost at mile 2 and cheered him on... Course was pretty hilly, I was suprised because we drove it the night before. Past 4 people in the last 1/2 mile What would you do differently?: Very happy with bike, course was wet and hilly. Just keep getting faster. Transition 2
Comments: a little slower but I lost 2 seconds fiddling with getting on one of my shoes. What would you do differently?: uh nothing, still a good T2 time Run
Comments: Run was good, I need to get faster. Just didnt have much left in the tank. I think I played damage control the last mile to keep some guy from gaining on me. If he would have caught me, there is no way I could have sprinted it out to the finish. Had 1 nice hill but had no problems with it. I liked the run. What would you do differently?: I guess need more bricks, spint work... Just need to get faster. Post race
Warm down: Waited for Cbost to come in with his parents as well as Chris' friend Zeke (his real name and first tri)... Sat around and got my FIRST medal!!!!! Simply a awesome day. What limited your ability to perform faster: just more training.... Event comments: Was a good race Last updated: 2006-07-24 12:00 AM

Stayed with Cbost (Chris) at his parents house, we had one awesome dinner the night before. Slept like a baby for some reason, got up had a bagle, and we rode our bike the short mile to the race site.
rode bike to event, swam 50 yards, did some good stretching.
Race delayed 30 min becuae of a huge down pour
