Swim
Comments: I pretty much completely suck at swimming. I know my time this year was a few seconds less than last year, but since the chip timing company website sucks and didn't record chip data, I have no idea what my actual time is. Also, I was TWO MINUTES FASTER my first year! What the hell? What would you do differently?: Swim faster. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition. What would you do differently?: Nothing. I nailed it. Bike
What would you do differently?: I could tell I didn't have much recent practice riding off road. I wasn't very sure of myself and my skills were kind of sucky. I need to get more practice next year. Transition 2
Comments: The woman in front of me blew through dismount and skidded to a stop sideways in the path to transition, blocking my access. She then proceeded to WALK her bike into transition. Fortunately, she was on the first rack coming in, while my bike was on the last rack. I was then able to run past her, rack my bike, and off with helmet and on with visor. In and out in 25 seconds! This one I remember! What would you do differently?: Nothing. This was flawless. Run
Comments: I knew all I had to do was run 5K in less than 41 minutes, and I'd beat last year's time. However, I decided I wanted to beat it by eight minutes, so I ran as fast as I could, concentrating on trying to have both feet off the ground at some point during each step. What would you do differently?: Run faster, but I'm happy with my results. Post race
Warm down: Packed up my gear and waited for the awards. What limited your ability to perform faster: My body. I'm just too damn slow. Event comments: Off-road triathlon. 3 Rivers Road Runners always puts on good races. I gave this one everything I had, and I'm happy with the results. I came in 3rd of four for my age group and beat last year's time by eight minutes. Last updated: 2016-07-02 12:00 AM

Stayed at His house overnight. Got up at 4:30 a.m. and drove down. Got the BEST transition spot EVER!!! Got all ready, and then waited around a couple of hours for the race to start.
