Pre-race routine:

Registration line was long and took forever. The toilets were locked!!!! Needed to use the toilets at the local petrol station.

I really need to work on my T1, am spending too much time here. Am going to invest in some tri shorts and a race belt to minimise time spent faffing around getting dressed. Wish I could ride/run without socks - can't though because of the orthotics so need to wear these :-(

Was a good run for me - probably my best tri run so far. Was getting cramps in lower abdomen though which forced me to have to stop & walk briefly a few times. Cause??
What would you do differently?:

Get fitter.

Warm down:

Drank heaps of free sports drink provided by Carboshotz. Should have had an apple, maybe would have recovered better (was wrecked for the rest of the day).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Fitness. But I'm fitter with each race so its only really onwards & upwards from here :-)

Course: Mainly flat with a few hills/inclines at the very beginning. Looks like my timing band stuffed up (me & a lot of other people looking at the results page) - the time for T1/cycle/T2/run is combined at 40 mins 24 secs. Bugger :-(
