very rough with long breakers. several drop outs in age group.
What would you do differently?:

not too much. I have experience to handle adverse conditions. A lot of racers do not regularly swim in ocean. The main thing is to stay calm and stay strong.

Run was too hard. I left some on the swim course. I was plodding too much.
What would you do differently?:

Im not training right for these 5 ks. No speed work, no hill work, so you get out what you put in.

I was wasted. Got some water, found a place to sit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Carried too much weight, lack of speed work.I planned this as workout tri so off a bit was okay.
