no real routine, to new at this stuff to have a routine. I suppose not to worry about the results just complete the events.

Not much warm up. Jumped in the water swam out a little ways to warm up and sic up

Was not ready for the turbulance of the water. I was realy aprehensive on the swim out to the bouys. Waves were strong and I was getting tired.
What would you do differently?:

I would try to relax more and know I will be fine once I get out of the surf.

I would race it not ride it.I was having so much fun, I found that I was saying good morning to everyone.

I fell as I was getting off the bike. Hint, unclip shoes from peddles.

get feet out of shoes, then jump off bike.

Nice run. I had a full bladder so made it a little uncomfortable.

Drink less sea water

Hugged my boys who came to cheer me on.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was having too much fun just enjoying the fact I survived the swim.

Great race, I realy had fun. It is nice to do a race like this where even those of us who will never be stellar athletes, can still have fun and succeed.
