Drove Up early AM left by 5:00 - easy drive - had waffles - yogurt -

Wow - kinda scary first open water swim - not prepared for all the bumping and crazy swimming

Sight better - think I swam straight - little bothered by all the others around me - need to swim more open water

coming out of the water - tripped on my own 2 feet - the wet suit does have bouce even out of the water - fell flat on my face (sand every where) - i'm sure it looked pretty funny!! Even I chuckled :-) Slowest T time - one bud asked if i was putting on makeup and fixing my hair!!! NOT, LOL

Suit got stuck on my left foot - need to practice more

Fun run - stayed in zone - too flat I like some rollers - legs felt fresher after swimming then in Du's

Go out less aggresive - kick the 2nd half - could get another couple of mins on 2nd 1/2

Experience with swimming and just more time in sport

Glad i got to do this before the 1/2 IM - learned a ton!!! Will be better prepared for the next one!! Good confidence booster - 5th overall -and bested the elite women's field times!!
