Comments: Took me nearly half the distance to settle in. Had my wife on the beach with me too long. forgot my ear plugs and should of had new goggles. with the waves hitting my face I got water in my eyes alot. What would you do differently?: new goggles, more meditation time. And get into race pace sooner Transition 1

Comments: i did not rinse my feet and ended up with dirt in between my toes. Headed to hell on this day. What would you do differently?: have a pan of water for feet,. Run
Comments: had to take of my shoes and finish the last 5 miles. I should have taken them off sooner under the conditions. BUT the real problem was in transition not the run. What would you do differently?: rinse feet Post race
Warm down: walk around and try to keep from falling out. had dealt with a lot of pain, What limited your ability to perform faster: transition planning. then lost nutrition plan during run. Event comments: I though the event could have been much classier. But- I was not there into the wee hours with the Ironmen. Alos felt they could have sold some merchandise after the race on race day.
