Comments:

48 degrees with winds from 16-20 mph on the great hwy portion of the run.
What would you do differently?:

Eat a little more prior to the race. At mile 2 I was feeling hungry.
Post race
Warm down:

I could barely move after the race ... everything was so cold. Once I got out of the wind, did a 5 minute stretch to get me back to the East Bay without cramping up. Once at home, I hit the foam roller, The Stick, and tennis ball to work out the kinks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The weather was really crappy, but that is not really an excuse ... anyone can run when it is 70 degrees and sunny. My feet were numb.

Event comments:

Fellow BT'r Geoff and I ran the race as another day of training. This was my second half marathon, the last one being in 2003 in Hawaii. It felt good (at least mentally) to know that I can go this distance...it will be good prep for Vineman in July.
