Usual breakfast, light stretching before leaving for race.
Event warmup:

Several easy jogs around starting line. Easy warmup, no short sprints as I would do for a 5K.

Comments:

Race pace goal was 9:00 min per mile. Actual pace 8:42 per mile which is great. Race strategy was to run at 9:00 min pace for first 7 miles and kick it up for the last 3 miles. Well, that really didn't happen as you can see from my HRM data. First 3 miles were downhill and last mile and a half I had to do some climbing which was stressful as I neared the end of the race. Had a good sprint to the finish line. Surprizingly, I had something left for the sprint to the finish line.
What would you do differently?:

Oh, I might have started my sprint to the finish line sooner.
Post race
Warm down:

During the race I pretty much finished off my 10 oz that I always carry during a race. After the race, drank about another 22 oz and ate 1 piece of pizza before weigh in at home. Weighed in at 154, just 1 pound below my normal weight.

Event comments:

Today's race was my longest ever and first ever 10 mile race! I guess its a PR day for me.
