Drove up to Atlanta with the parents. Arrived at the race site with enough time to stretch

Comments:

Well, I was not as prepared for this race as I could have been, but I was still able to beat my first half marathon time by a good amount. My knees began to give me fits around mile 10, so it slowed me down for the rest of the race.
What would you do differently?:

Wear a support for my knees, train more and stick to a plan
