Comments: Yikes a hill! Passed a couple people going up, but they got me back and stayed in front of me. I really wanted to pass the overweight guy with the stroller but just couldn't do it. Right near the end a guy with a freckle on the back of each knee (and totally muscular calves) passed me and I kept up with him for a bit and never lost sight. Picked it up the last half mile but couldn't hammer it in the chute- guess I gave my all. What would you do differently?: Train on hills. Get more sleep. Post race
Warm down: Long walk, little stretch. What limited your ability to perform faster: Soreness. Event comments: Water halfway. Costume contest and awards afterwards- only thing was that pavilion was so cold! Last updated: 2008-10-11 12:00 AM

Stretched a little, quick lap around the parking lot- about a minute or so
