Pre-race routine:

Up at 4:30. The race was moved to Tradewinds Park. Ate oatmeal and banana. Had some concerns about performance with relatively no training since MIT Oly in March. Drove to race. Met up with Mary, Dennis, and Henry.
Event warmup:

1/4 mi run, short swim to warm up the arms. Water felt great.

still want to improve on my run pace. needs to be better! will do more intensity work

drank a bottle of water and just walked around waiting for everyone else to finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

limited training.

Event comments:

I felt great about the 20mph avg for the bike. Overall pleased with my race time - fastest one yet - especially with my limited training prior to the race. now its time to begin the 1/2 iron training. off to bigger (and better?) races!
