  • Comments: Pretty disappointing post-race food....and the women's small shirt is closer to a medium/large, so I'm basically swimming in it. The race, itself, was good, but the extras that you come to expect from an Ironman branded race were disappointing this time around.

  • Comments: Very fun race. Great people, volunteers, racers, etc. Well run, even if the registration taking 2 hours was not ideal, and a nice venue. I even didn't mind the short loops on the run (three more... two more... last time around!). Likely will be back yearly.

  • Comments: The volunteers at this race were incredible. I tried to thank every single one I passed and did so until I was in survival mode on the second half of the run. The bike course is amazing. Loved every minute of it. The run course left a lot to be desired. Too many turn arounds and bends and too many spectators having to cross in front of racers.

  • Comments: Since I was in one of the last waves, a lot of the post-race activities were being taken down as I finished. Tents were coming down, etc. Lots of volunteers on the course. They did a great job of handing off at the bike aid stations. The only negative comment I have is that there were too many spectators walking across the run course with no regards to approaching runners. I had to avoid several people who didn't even realize that they were in the way. Didn't enjoy the multi-loop run course, although it did allow for me to see teammates and friends along the way. Overall, I enjoyed this race but I don't plan on doing it again next year.
