  • Comments: This was my 2nd year doing this race - I absolutely love it! Very well organized and lots of fun (contrary to my complaining above lol). Next year I hope to be under 3 hours.

  • Comments: Thank you to the volunteers (pink tye dye lady), THANK YOU to the EMT's and MEDICAL TENT Volunteers. To bad it didn't rain during the run, this was a fun race and will do it again and hopefully not with a trip to medical.

  • Comments: Biggest hit against this race were the timing chips that Run Far inexplicably decided to use. They were horrible. The were huge bulky plastic about 2"x1". What made them so much worse, though, was that they were about 1" THICK. That made getting your wetsuit on or off over it nearly impossible. I can't fathom why they used those.

  • Comments: Love this race, and I'll do it again next year if I get the chance, I just wish the weather would be more cooperative. I'm pretty fortunate in that my wave started right after the open with the pros in it, the rest of the field probably suffered much more than I did when they hit the run course.
