Comments: So after resting and cleaning up, I looked at the results page. I never carry a watch with me on a race, so all of the times were news to me. I was shocked to see the results: 1st in age group. I did it!!! I finally placed in an event. The feeling was sublime. I know, I know, its a small race and a sprint, but still, coming from a place where I have no athletic background and injuries galore, its a good feeling to see your work pay off in this way. I love this sport!
Comments: Wow...great race. I beat a lot of guys I don't usually beat, and felt super strong.
My only qualm: Third. Again. 4-for-4 this season. Actually, if I had bee a couple minutes slower, I would have been out of the Masters OA top three, and would have won my AG.
