  • Comments: The longer swim interval this year was awesome. I also really liked the new bike course. The Carmel Police and volunteers do an amazing job - THANK YOU! I would like to dope slap some of the impatient drivers (it’s early Sunday morning for crying out loud!) that honk and yell at the police officers for holding up traffic for bikers / runners. I do all I can to thank every one of the officers and volunteers that keep us safe. I hope to do this race for as long as this body holds out. I would HIGHLY recommend it for first timers, and experienced triathletes too.

  • Comments: Absolutely great starter race. I was completely prepared for everything, and there were plenty of volunteers and signs and such to ensure everyone was 100% good to go. Race environment was fun, course was well done, I had a lot of fun.

  • Comments: I like the Fishers Tri much better. More aid stations on the run and post race food is better as well. Also, did not like how a parent could just walk in the transition area and bother the athletes.

  • Comments: Registered late at event expo, so no T-shirt but no pre-race packet (or pre-race instruction sheet) either. Will suggest better info posting on web site so late reg'ers know what's goin' on. Youth tri was held after all adults started. RD was great with the kids at awards ceremony. Great to see those smiling young triathletes get their medals!!! And DW was there near the end when I got my AG 3rd medal. My 1st podium finish. Guy who won our 55-59 AG was mult IM finisher, so didn't feel the event's AG was that soft for a local tri.
