  • Comments: This was a great race. If they are going to have it again next year, I am looking forward to it. Just need to improve running.

  • Comments: I thought the $100 price tag for what is basically a sprint distance with no extra costs for a swim a bit steep, but I must say, I almost feel it was worth it. The haul away from this race was nice. A nice tech tee, a nice tech hat (although black is not useful in the summer), a nice metal water bottle, a free burger from In and Out, a race belt, etc. Plus good post food, wet towels when you finish, gatorage in a nice water bottle that we got to keep, nice metal, and the bonus, your results printed off for you right there on site a few minutes after you finish. SWEET! Anyways, only the top 18 qualify and that's not me, but I wasn't expecting to and wouldn't have gone anyways (the Canadian in me wouldn't have no matter what). But I'd do one of the national championships again in a heart beat if it was near by
