  [Updated 02/09/07] The Flint Hills Triathlon long course is not only the Midwest Regional Championship race, but the top athlete in each age group will qualify for the 2008 World Short Course Championship in Vancouver, Canada!
  
  Any athlete that finishes in the top 33% or is one of the top five finishers (whichever is greater) in each age group will qualify for the National Age Group Championship in Portland, Oregon on June 30, 2007.
