• Description: The race will be held on September 26, 2009 just outside Calgary, AB near Bragg Creek in the Elbow Valley region of Kananaskis. It consists of a 4km trail run, a 20km road bike, and a 4 km run. We chose Diamond T loop and the particular section along highway 66 for the Blitz duathlon for its scenery and beauty where participants will be able to enjoy the challenge. An outdoor BBQ where racers and spectators can gather for post race fun, awards, and prizes will immediately follow the race at the nearby River Cove group camp.
