• Description: The race begins with a beautiful calm swim in Furnace Lake, a 1-loop swim covering the perimeter of the lake. The close proximity to shore the entire way should help sighting and reduce anxiety.
  
  The bike course is also one loop on quiet scenic roads throughout Warren County where you will experience rolling hills with steady climbs and technical descents. Most of the course takes place on county roads with wide shoulders and minimal traffic.
  
  You'll finish with a nice out and back run that brings you out along the dam that created the lake, then an out and back on a quiet wooded road leading to an old stone quarry. Runners will then return towards the lake for a scenic finish along the waterfront.
