  John’s Pond, Mashpee (Cape Cod), MA
  Measured 1 & 3.1 Mile Open Water Swims
  TIME: Check in starts at 7:30am All events start promptly at 9:00am
  Day-of Registrations and Check In close 20 minutes before race starts
  LOCATION: John’s Pond is located behind the Barnstable County Fairgrounds odd of Route 151
  COURSE: Measured and laid out in triangle and marked by buoys. 2X’s around = 1Mile - 6X’s around = 3.1 Miles
  **ROOKIE Event** ½ Mile = 1 X around for new OW swimmers (All participants receive a special
  commemorative award) Entry fee only $10
  AWARDS: Trophies to top three (3) finishers – M & F in each event. Medals for 1st – 3rd in each age group, male/female. Age Groups (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+)
  SEPARATE WET SUIT DIVISION – ONLY OVERALL AWARDS GIVEN
  ENTRY FEE: $25.00 if post-marked by June 11, 2010. After this date and day of: $30.00. No Refunds. Includes T-shirt to first
  125 registered entries. Day-of entries not guaranteed a shirt. Any additional T-shirts may be ordered for $10 each.
  GENERAL INFORMATION: Ample parking and facilities are available. Results will be posted on our Web Site. Course will be
  patrolled by Lifeguards, Harbor Master, & Fire. EMTs on site. All swimmers are required to wear provided swim caps.
