  • Description: The swim will be either .25 mile or .93 mile counter-clockwise course, leaving from the sandy shores of Antlers Park. The course will be well marked and easy to follow. Water temps in mid August are normally a comfortable 78 degrees, but wetsuits are legal. In the event that water is 78-84, wetsuits are permitted, but the racer will not be eligible for awards. If water temps are over 84 degrees wetsuits are not permitted.

The bike course (which runs clockwise) will be a great improvement over years past. 75% of the course features huge shoulders on which to bike. The course rolls gently through the countryside and should be FAST! Sprint distance racers will travel 17.3 miles and Olympic distance racers will go 24.8 miles.

The run (which runs counterclockwise) will be tweaked slightly over years past. We will still predominately be in the northern neighborhood, but will head a little further up Hwy 50. This will allow our Sprint distance racers to complete a single loop (3.1 miles) and our Olympic distance competitors will do the loop twice (6.2 miles). We will run counterclockwise and have mile markers throughout the course.
