• Description: This is one of the larger state parks we have and one that came to us directly from the DNR saying this would be a great park for our events. The swim is in lake Ovid which can be weedy in spots but we have done a great job in ensuring you are staying away from those areas and the new Time Trial format will greatly reduce the chance of swimming in weeds as well. The bike is great, on farm country roads, all new and smooth. This is a pretty rolling course, one that you can keep you momentum and cadence up on. Not a ton of shade however, and lightly traveled. The run course is completely contained in the park. Mostly flat and has two short trail sections.
