  • Description: The Siskiyou Challenge is open to recreational and competitive racers. The event is a 6-leg multi-sport relay race that raises funds for Rogue Valley Farm to School.

    The race course is 46 miles in and around beautiful Ashland, Oregon. The Siskiyou Challenge begins and ends at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum.

    Leg 1: 13K Cycle 8 mile road bike ride from ScienceWorks to Emigrant Lake.

    Leg 2: 3K Kayak Just under 2 miles in a flat water kayak or on a paddle board.

    Leg 3: 30K Cycle Almost 19 miles of cycling on scenic rural roads through the valley's orchards from Emigrant Lake to Lithia Park's Swimming Reservoir.

    Leg 4: Run Hill climbers delight, a run up into the hills above Lithia Park, this route has changes coming for 2014

    Leg 5: Mt Bike Mountain bikers look for some changes this year, still going up to the top and back down.

    Leg 6: 6K Run Leave Lithia Park to run the streets above Ashland, coming down to the bike path with a finish off of Walker Avenue to ScienceWorks for a party at the finish line.
