  • Description: This race will begin with a simple out and back course totalling 0.25 mile, followed by a 5k run course that will win along the paved trail that leads from Des Moines Beach park. Registration will open at 6:30 am, and the race will begin at 8:30. Swim course cut off will occur at 9:00 am; run course cut off will occur at 10:30 am. Be sure to head over to the Des Moines waterfront Farmer’s Market after the race!
