Overall I am very happy with the RS400. Its proven to be very reliable and accurate with the readings its given me.
Overall I look forward to OWS now that I will be in a Tri suit instead of an old surfing suit.
Training in N.C. during the spring and summer can get hot so I purchased 2 of these bottles for training. These bottles keep liquids much cooler, much longer than standard water bottles. They work great. The only downside is that when the bottles "jump" out of your cages you have to turn around and get them because they are a bit more $ than a standard bottle.
The Polar Bottle's double-wall construction incorporates a thermal barrier of air to keep heat out and keep cold in.
In addition, a foil layer reflects solar rays for additional protection.
Wide mouth opening for easy filling
Soft rubber bite valve for comfortable hydration
Keeps liquids cold twice as long as conventional water bottles.
24 or 20 ounce bottle
A good solid shoe for under $100. The Radius 7 is intended for slight and late-stage over-pronators. The MoGo midsole delivers an improved heel-to-toe ride, smooth stability, and maximum spring per step.
I was training for a HIM and was dreading my long swims so I bought the SwiMP3. Best thing I could do. It ended my boredom and made me actually look forward to my swim workouts!
The SwiMP3 underwater MP3 player is an incredible audio experience. Imagine listening to hours of your own music during your swim workout. The SwiMP3's innovative sound transfer technology offers exception underwater sound quality. Standard players rely on the transmission of sound through air or water causing the swimmer to perceive only muffled noise. The SwiMP3 uses bone conduction - the direct transfer of sound vibrations from the cheek bone to the inner ear - to provide the swimmer with exceptional sound clarity. The SwiMP3 is fully waterproof and can be used with all the competitive swim strokes.
Overall a great value. Good components at a great price.
It is great to be able to listen to music while you are swimming. I have just started using this and it is nice. This is a inexpensive MP3 player so it certainly isn't fancy but it does serve its purpose. It is a good alternative if you do not want to risk using one of those waterproof housings for your ipod.
A great first bike that will take me (hopefully) all the way to ironman. Great value and with a good set of race wheels is all the bike I need.
Overall an outstanding shoe. After retiring my Nimbus 8's, I spent over an hour trying on other shoes and running in them. I went back to the Asics in the end.
I always lose count of what lap I am on and I have trouble keeping track of my splits. This device works well and is easy to use. Here is the summary from the website:
Underwater Lap Counting and Timing. A personal underwater clock that counts the number of laps you swim, records the time it took to complete each lap, your total time and an estimate of the amount of calories burned. Simply press the Lap Track to start and again each time you complete a lap and the Lap Track will do the rest. Each time the Lap Track is pressed, your split time will be displayed for 5 seconds so you can check your times as you swim. The entire Lap Track is a button, so you wont need to worry about slowing down to press any small buttons.
The Lap Track allows a swimmer to keep track of laps, split times and calories burnt all while continuously swimming. The Lap Track also has a lap count down feature, which allows you to set the amount of lap you wish to swim, then the Lap Track will count down your laps until you reach zero. This feature is especially useful for swimmers using the SwiMP3. Now you can finish your workout without ever giving a though to how much longer you have to swim, or have far you have gone. The Lap Track can attach to the side of your pool using the suction pads, or if your pool does not have a smooth surface you can use the extending arm to hang the Lap Track in your pool.
I have used this program for the last 2 years and my performance has improved greatly.
This system is great for data nerd triathletes who like to graph their performance. The training plans are useful for newbies and easily modified based on your level of fitness or time available to train. Mike Pigg and his coach, Phil Maffetone, created this training plan to help triathletes experience the joy of reaching their potential. The Mike Pigg Triathlon Training Plan develops a customized and precise training schedule loaded onto the PC Coach calendar. This heart-rate based plan will set up workouts for you based on your current fitness level, your goals, and your training preferences.
Very excellent shoe and after 5 years of trying to find the perfect shoe for me - I think that I found it.
Unless you are desperate for a quick way to switch the 305 from your bike to your wrist, a standard "watch mount" is a better value.
Well worth the money.
A handy accessory for the Forerunner 305, but much more expensive than it should be. Rather bulkly, but you really don't notice it on your shoe.
Overall great bike
