Ease of installation

Very easy to install. I also purchased the garmin cadence sensor for the bike and both were easy to install.

Ease of use

It has a lot of bells and whistles which is good but I do not use all the features and find it very easy. My wife uses it from time to time too so if she can do it then anyone can.

I have run into things and even dropped it while on my bike and have not had any problems.
