"Overall I have been pleased with this product and with the additional features BT has added for this, I would recommend it for someone that appreciates data and the ability to analyze and compare workouts."kenj

Software installed about as easy as any program. Unit itself straps on like a watch. Wait for signal and go.

Most of the features I use are fairly straight forward. There are many other features that I have not used.

I have had no issues.

I am not a big fan of rubber watch bands. I have actually switched to the cloth band that comes with the bike mount. The HR strap is adjustable and does not stretch out and need readjustment as some of the HR straps with other brands I have used.

(3)

For running, it is a bit bulky on the wrist. Not an issue on the bike using the optional bike mount.

(4)

Both the unit and HR strap have a wide range to fit about anyone. It comes with 2 different length wrist bands.

I have not had a problem with the unit itself. I think the cradle that connects to the computer may have issues from the salt and sweat that comes with exercise.

As just a running tool, it is on the high side of the price spectrum and you can probably get a lot of the tools for less. If you use everything it offers it is ok. I use it for both the run and the bike and I have added the speed/cadence sensor as well as the bike mount kit. By doing this I believe that the value increases significantly as it eliminates the need for both a running tool and a bike computer.

Have you seen these? Its like strapping a laptop to your wrist.

Have not needed to use their customer service.

It has performed well for me for what I was looking for.

I always liked the information I was able to get from the Forerunner. Splits, HR data, the mapping feature, etc. for both the bike and run has helped me improve as a triathlete. But I have really appreciated its capabilities and features since BT has added some of the download features directly to my workout log. This has saved a lot of post workout time and the graphs and history data will be a great analytical tool.

It is a bit bulky on the wrist.
