Started with Age group rather than newbies, so Hung back on start. Had a tough time navigating/passing all the bodies.
What would you do differently?:

Be more confident at the start. Be more aggressive in my passing. Get in the grove and just swim. faster

Thought a bike Computer might be a distraction, wrong. Wish I used one. Longer hills. Trained on shorter, more intense hills, with down hills after. 12 year old mountain bike was no advantage. Seat kept sliding

Get Computer. fix seat. get Road bike. Train more. go Faster

Will Make sure bike fits into rack before getting to my spot (lower seat).
