Comments:

My 1st Century ride. I really wanted to complete one this year so that I am a little more confident for Ironman Training. My legs felt good the whole way. I still am not used to Roadie bars so my wrists & hands still hurt a little, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The rest stops were nice to give my body a little break. We didn't take long in them.
What would you do differently?:

Nutrition plan. We went into this with no nutrition plan. We had some Clif bars, Hammer Gels, and Perpetuem, but no real plan on how much and when to take them. We also ate something and filled up on water / All Sport at the rest stops.
Post race
Warm down:

AUCE crabs at the Crab Bag

What limited your ability to perform faster:

We were not trying to race, but being in a peloton is fun.

Event comments:

Good ride, the course is marked, which is nice. It was an overcast day, but not a lot of scenery. The Eagleman Course is much prettier. The nicest part of this ride is Assateague Island and the ponies.
