I swam very well for my limited training. I started close to the back since I didnt know a swim time when I signed up.
What would you do differently?:

I started very slow on the run but after about a half mile I started to hit my groove. Hilly course, luckily thats all I run on around here so they werent too much of a problem.

Event comments:

I finished better than expected, my goal for my first race was 1:30 and I beat it by 17 min. Everyone there was very supportive and encouraging. It was a great experience for my first time out.
