Swim
Comments: felt pretty good with swim...i only got passed once so that was good...some idiot was cramping right in front of me but to fast for me to pass and he cut me off getting out of the water which made me mad cause he took his own sweet time. What would you do differently?: work on breathing more...i couldn't calm down for the first 100 meters so that threw my breathing off some. my kick was weeker than it should have been but i was nervous about using legs too much. didn't cramp at all. Transition 1
Comments: Forgot to freaking shift to low gear before i set up bike so it took forever to get on and get going...missed clip like 3-4 times What would you do differently?: Shift down on bike... Bike
Comments: decent bike ride...pretty quick out and back. What would you do differently?: hydrate more and start in lower gear. Transition 2
Comments: good transition...feeling a little off balance so i had to sit down to put on shoes...not bad though What would you do differently?: bring race bib so i dont have to screw with using HRM as strap :-/ Run
Post race
Warm down: walked it out about 100 yards and drank a lot of water What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of focus and prep...didn't care much since it's first race and just getting feet wet for season... Event comments: Probably should have expected poor organization since put on by a bunch of sorority girls...I had one girl telling me i was half way on the run less than one mile into it...i told her she was wrong and she tried to argue with me...then my friend ran an extra minute because one of the girls told him to go the wrong way. Come on TRI Delts! They were cute though...i'll give them that. Last updated: 2006-04-24 12:00 AM

Show up and get checked in...listen to ipod...get trans set up. Drank some water...drank muscle fuel...had 4 catalyst and a pack of sport beans.
Not near enough...running late so only got to jog about 100 yards...my legs were wishing i had done more by the middle of the run.
