Pre-race routine:

Picked Brandon up at his house and got to CAC around 5...ate 2 Clifs and a banana around 4:30. Race started @ 7:30.
Event warmup:

Ran around the parking lot and got my hr up around 138 and ran in place to get my hr back up before I got into the water.

All transition time was in the bike portion. Felt my transitions were fast, efficient and as smooth as I could be! Been praticing them as of late.

Was really pushing it here! Started out around 170 and wouldn't let it slip into the 160s!!! Really focused good today on keeping the hammer down! Never felt ANY fade factor today!Felt what I did in between Soma and this race was perfect!

Not much....Hung out with the family, and Brandon, Jessica, Erin, Jason and Sue! Waited for all the results to be posted....

Event comments:

Had a great time today! Racing a sprint after all this long training is a ton of fun! Was also sweet to have a 15 minute drive home afterwards!!!
