hated first 50m, couldn't get a rythmn going, settled in after that

Wore gloves, next time no gloves. Forgot to remove covers on bottom of shoes, only a small delay though

Felt strong, got passed twice, repassed one guy at first hill, never saw again. Passed near the end, but caught on the run.
What would you do differently?:

Go even harder and use my TT bike instead of road bike!

didn't know where the finish was, sprint at the end too late (only 100m) could have gone earlier. Passed by two people. Passed loads of LA TRI club guys!!!

First ever real triathalon.....learning experience

Event comments:

No mile markers on run, swim was delayed awaiting bike course clearance, lots of press helicopters!
